Mumbai, July 13 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has added another milestone to his political career, with his name now being etched among the top three longest-serving Chief Ministers of the state, BJP state chief spokesperson Navnath Ban said on Monday.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP state headquarters, Ban said that Fadnavis, who had earlier completed a consecutive five-year term as Chief Minister, had earned the distinction due to the blessings of Maharashtra's 140 million people.
He expressed confidence that Fadnavis would eventually emerge as the state's longest-serving Chief Minister.
