Mumbai, Sept. 3 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said here on Thursday that he will remain in Maharashtra until 2029 and make the state a one- trillion US dollar economy by 2030.
The latest statement by Fadnavis came hours after Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP and chief Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut told media persons earlier on Thursday that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is preparing to call Fadnavis to Delhi and make him the Deputy Prime Minister shortly.
During an interaction with media persons here on Thursday, Fadnavis said, "Whenever my party and my leaders decide, I will certainly go to Delhi, but today my opinion is that I will not be in Delhi till 2029".
