Mumbai, Aug. 13 -- Lashing out at the opposition for continuously disrupting parliamentary proceedings, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today launched a scathing attack, accusing opposition parties of hypocrisy and deliberately running away from crucial legislative debates.
Speaking against the backdrop of an ongoing uproar in Parliament, Fadnavis asserted that while the opposition frequently invokes the Constitution for political rhetoric, they cower when it is time to face accountability on the floor of the House.
"The opposition is taking flight from accountability. They grandstand about the Constitution, yet they flee from direct debate," Fadnavis stated.
