Nagpur, June 27 -- : Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray travelled on the same commercial flight from Mumbai to Nagpur on Friday, triggering political speculation amid the recent churn in the state's politics.
The two leaders, considered political rivals, briefly greeted each other during the journey before taking their seats.
Uddhav Thackeray was accompanied by his son and MLA Aaditya Thackeray, while Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut was also on board.
The development came days after several Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs switched allegiance to the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, leading to speculation over the significance of the shared flight.
