Agartala, Sept. 24 -- Political differences within the ruling BJP in North Tripura have sparked a series of incidents involving party workers, local supporters, and a student protest against Barnali Goswami, wife of Dharmanagar MLA Jahar Chakraborty.
Allegations of internal rivalry and confrontation within the ruling party have come to the forefront following separate incidents reported in the constituency over the past two days. The controversy began with a protest at Dharmanagar Government Degree College, where members of ABVP raised "Go Back" slogans against Goswami.
