Mumbai, March 18 -- The impact of human-induced climate change was widely felt across much of the world between December 2025 and February 2026, with extreme heat emerging as a major concern.
During this three-month period, a significant portion of the global population experienced temperatures strongly influenced by climate change on a daily basis.
According to the findings, more than one in six people worldwide were exposed to such elevated temperatures throughout the period. Nearly 2.5 billion people across 124 countries faced at least 30 days where temperatures were heavily shaped by climate change, highlighting the widespread nature of the phenomenon.
