Hamirpur (HP), March 24 -- Deputy Commissioner Gandharva Rathore has directed officials from the Health Department and other concerned departments to ensure the regular supply of all essential medicines to people living with HIV/AIDS in the district through the ART Centre.
She instructed that these individuals-as well as their dependents-must be made beneficiaries of the various welfare schemes being implemented by the government. He emphasized that the various acts and rules enacted to prevent any form of discrimination against these individuals must be strictly adhered to in letter and spirit, and their identities must not be disclosed at any level.
