Hamirpur (HP), June 4 -- Experts have urged greater use of bicycles as a practical means for cheering the heart and protecting the environment.

Executive Member- Indian Medical Academy For Preventive Health Dr Naresh Purohit on Wednesday called for greater use of bicycles and urged people to reduce their dependence on bikes and cars.

Addressing a mass gathering on the occasion of World Bicycle Day at a cyclothon event organised at Nahan based Dr YS Parmar Governmentt Medical College, the noted physician Dr Purohit averred that cycling was one of the simplest and most effective forms of daily exercise, which also helps to significantly reduce air pollution.
