Chennai, Feb. 24 -- Beginning her second stint in her political journey after the earlier one was shortlived following her conviction in a DA case, V K Saikla, expelled AIADMK leader and close aide of late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Tuesday evening announced launching of a new political party ahead of the ensuing Tamil Nadu Assembly polls, marking her active return to active politics after a gap of nine years.
After repeatedly asserting that she would be making all efforts to make AIADMK an united force, that saw several unpleasant developments over the years, and her attempts failed, she started her second political journey by announcing that she would launch a political party on her own, the name of which would be announced soon.
