Kozhikode, Aug. 18 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) launched a fresh round of synchronized raids across eight locations in Keralam early Tuesday morning, targeting close associates of former Public Works Minister PA Mohammed Riyas.
The high-profile operation, which commenced at 7am on Tuesday, stems from critical financial leads recovered from a diary seized from the residence of Veena Vijayan (T. Veena), daughter of former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and wife of Mohammed Riyas.
While former minister PA Mohammed Riyas himself has been under the scanner, this specific raid directly targets his close personal and political aides. The ED is tracing the money trail by investigating individuals believed to have handled these funds.
