Bhopal, March 13 -- A local special court on Friday acquitted erstwhile Madhya Pradesh minister and former Congress legislator Sukhdev Panse in a case pertaining to the murder of a Pardhi community couple and related violence at Betul district's Multai town in 2007.
The verdict was pronounced by Additional Sessions Judge and Special Judge (MPs and MLAs) Swayam Prakash Dubey owing to a lack of evidence of homicide, arson and triggering a riot.
