Gadchiroli, Aug. 31 -- : A 20-year-old Aravinda Barsagade, daughter of a former Maoist, has begun her career as a trainee engineer in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district, symbolising a journey of resilience and transformation from a challenging past to a promising future.
Aravinda, who completed a diploma in civil engineering last year, has joined the LT Gondwana Skill Hub of Lloyds Metals and Energy at Hedri and is currently working as a trainee site engineer at the company's township project in Aldandi.
She now aims to continue her education by pursuing a BTech degree alongside her job.
A resident of Bhogapur village in Sironcha tehsil, Aravinda grew up in an area that lacked basic infrastructure, including roads and electricity.
