Chennai, July 27 -- RV Ashok Kumar, brother of former Minister and DMK strongman V.Senthilbalaji, on Monday appeared before a Sessions Court and executed the bond in compliance with the bail conditions in the Rs 35 crore ruling TVK MLA bribery case, in an attempt to topple the TVK government headed by Chief Minister Vijay.
Ashok Kumar had appeared before the Triplicane police on Saturday as per the bail conditions and subjected himself for questioning along with the Ex-DMK Minister.
Today, accompanied by lawyers, he appeared before the Principal Sessions Judge S.Karthikeyan and formally surrendered by executinga personal bond for Rs 25,000 along with two surEties for a like sum and secured the bail.
