Chennai, July 29 -- Ms Kayalvizhi Alagiri, daughter of former DMK leader and union Minister M.K. Alagiri, who was booked by the police for slapping and threatening a PSU bank branch manager at Adyar area in Chennai, was arrested and released on Station bail last evening.
After registering cases against her, police conducted detailed investigations, verified CCTV footages and digital evidences and issued summons under Sec 35 (3) of BNSS asking her to appear before the Investigating Officer (IO) on Tuesday.
