Thiruvananthapuram, April 25 -- Former DGP and BJP leader R Sreelekha and Thiruvananthapuram Deputy Mayor Asha Nath G.S have been included in the list of accused in connection with the protest march to the Vattiyoorkavu police station.
The case was registered following a march and protest staged in front of the police station, where demonstrators raised slogans against the police. The agitation was reportedly organised alleging police excesses against BJP workers.
According to police, multiple individuals, including BJP's assembly candidate and Sasthamangalam councillor R. Sreelekha, have been booked on charges such as unlawful assembly, creating public disturbance, and obstructing police personnel from discharging their duties. Authoriti...
