Chennai, May 28 -- Even after the two warring AIADMK factions in the Tamil Nadu Legislature came together after burying the hatchet, desertions in the Opposition party continued on Thursday with party strongman and Former Minister Vellamandi R Natarajan on Thursday quitting and joining the ruling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) of Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay.
Mr Natarajan, whose move caused a setback to the AIADMK which was already smarting under a series of poll defeats, met TVK General Secretary and Tamil Nadu Minister N Anand and joined the TVK. He was inducted into the party by presenting a shawl by Mr.Anand.
