Bengaluru, June 6 -- Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Saturday moved swiftly to stamp out speculation of a rift within the state cabinet, declaring that "everything has been resolved" after a marathon meeting with senior Congress leader and Minister R Ramalinga Reddy.
The high-level meeting assumed significance amid growing political chatter over alleged discontent within sections of the ruling Congress, prompting concerns of the first signs of turbulence in the government.
However, Shivakumar firmly dismissed suggestions of any crisis, asserting that all issues had been discussed and amicably settled.
