New Delhi, Oct. 2 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today evening made a surprise visit to the Ladwa Grain Market here to review paddy procurement arrangements, assuring farmers that the state government would purchase every single grain of paddy brought to the mandis and that no farmer would face unnecessary inconvenience during the process.
Saini, who arrived at the grain market without prior notice, personally inspected the paddy stocks that had arrived for procurement and used a moisture-checking machine to verify the moisture levels in the crop. During his visit, he interacted directly with farmers and arhtiyas (commission agents) to understand the ground realities of the procurement process and hear their concerns.
