Mumbai, May 20 -- In a move reflecting the growing strategic and financial connectivity between India and Europe, Eurobank will inaugurate its representative office in Mumbai on Thursday in the presence of Nikos Christodoulides, marking the first physical presence of a Greek and Cypriot bank in India.
The development is being viewed as part of the broader effort to strengthen trade, investment and financial linkages between India and the European Union, particularly under the emerging India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) and the recently accelerated India-EU economic engagement.
