Esterhuizen hit his maiden half-century when contributing 57 not out from just 36 deliveries in the Proteas' 19-run victory over the Black Caps at Sky Stadium on Sunday, with the hard-hitting right-hander making an immediate impact in what was just his fourth international appearance.
