New Delhi/ Kolkata, May 10 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday attended the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected BJP government in West Bengal and paid tribute to the courage and resilience shown by the people of the state in the polls, especially women power.

Gupta called it a historic moment, with the change now to realise the dream of 'Sonar Bangla.' Delhi CM remarked that the people of Bengal had witnessed years of alleged oppression, corruption and political intimidation for over the past 15 years, but had now chosen a democratic change.
