Kolhapur, Sept. 24 -- Five persons on Thursday have been arrested by Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Kolhapur police in Sant Balumama Devsthan scam of Rs 60.74 crore in Shri Khetra Adamapur in Bhudargad tehsil of this district.
According to Bhudargad police, a case has been registered against them Charity Inspector of the Devsthan Ragini Khadke, and some others in this embezzlement case.
The Economic Crimes Investigation Branch team of Kolhapur Police is investigating this case and five people from Nidhori and Murgud areas have been arrested in connection with the land purchase and sale transaction. Their names have been identified as Bhishma Suryavanshi, Ranjit Suryavanshi, Prakash Mangle, Sagar Shinde, Tanmay Bachankar.
