Srinagar, April 30 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Kashmir of the Crime Branch J&K on Thursday filed a chargesheet in a cheating case registered in 2022 against a Srinagar resident accused of defrauding multiple people by promising government jobs and land allotment.
The chargesheet was filed against Bashir Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Astanpora, Tailbal Hazratbal, Srinagar, under Section 420 of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) and submitted before the Court of Judge Small Causes, Srinagar, officials said.
