Bhubaneswar, May 22 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Odisha Police has arrested two more accused in connection with the Rs 9.6 crore Bank of India cheque cloning fraud involving the District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT) account in Mayurbhanj district.
EOW sources said on Friday that the accused, identified as Surjit Roy and Sameer Srivastav, proprietors of Roy Associates and SS Traders respectively, were arrested from Raipur in Chhattisgarh on Thursday.
The duo has been booked under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of the IPC along with Sections 66(C) and 66(D) of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
