Hyderabad, April 30 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has directed officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply across Telangana despite rising electricity demand due to the ongoing summer heat.
Speaking at a review meeting held at Praja Bhavan with senior officials of the Energy Department on Thursday, he noted that increased use of air conditioners, coolers, and agricultural load has significantly pushed up demand. Officials informed him that the power system is under pressure nationwide, but assured that the state remains prepared.
