Hyderabad, March 26 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday stressed the need to ensure that a larger share of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds is utilised within the state, questioning why companies operating in Telangana are spending funds elsewhere.

Speaking at a review meeting on CSR funds held at the Legislative Council Conference Hall, the Chief Minister expressed concern over the inadequate inflow of CSR funds into the state so far and called for corrective measures.

"How can companies and industries establish their operations in Telangana yet choose to spend their CSR funds elsewhere?" he asked, underlining the need for a structured approach to retain CSR investments within the state.
