Bristol, July 19 -- India made three changes to their playing XI, with pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah ruled out due to a knee injury, as England won the toss and elected to bat in the third and deciding ODI here on Sunday.

India skipper Shubman Gill confirmed that Bumrah was unavailable because of a knee injury, while Washington Sundar and Shivam Dube also missed out. KL Rahul returned to the side, alongside Prince Yadav and left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh.

Gill said the team had preferred four specialist seamers over an additional spinner, believing the conditions would favour pace.
