New Delhi, June 7 -- Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Saturday stated that illegal building constructions and encroachment on government land have emerged as a big challenge in the national capital, asserting that such practices will not be tolerated any more.
Sirsa, who was on a visit to the Raghubir Nagar area on Saturday, said that the practice of squatters will be dealt with firmly.
He said that required action was taken on encroachment at a community centre in the area with the concerned department inspector issuing notice to the violators to vacate the premises.
The minister warned that whoever is found violating building bylaws will not be spared.
