Aizawl, July 15 -- Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) at Ngopa town in eastern Mizoram has secured the top position in the East Region of the inaugural National Youth Parliament Competition, earning a place in the national-level finals.

The competition, organised by the union Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, aims to familiarise students with the functioning of Parliament while promoting a deeper understanding ofdemocracy, governance and civic participation.
