Mumbai, June 24 -- Actor Emraan Hashmi is set to revisit the horror genre after a gap of five years with the newly announced film "Rooh", a musical horror drama that promises to blend supernatural chills with emotional storytelling and music.
The title of the film has now been officially unveiled, adding another project to Hashmi's growing slate while he remains occupied with the filming of Awarapan 2. The film will be directed by Mayank Sharma, who has co-written the screenplay with Vishal Kapoor. Vikram Khakhar and Sunny Khanna are producing this film under the banner of Wicked Films.
According to the producers, "Rooh" will be released in theatres in the year 2027 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
