Chandigarh, March 16 -- In a significant judicial development, the Court of Additional Sessions Judge Jaibir Singh in Jind has awarded life imprisonment to 11 individuals found guilty in the high-profile 2021 Shyam Sundar murder case. Along with the life sentence, the court imposed a fine of Rs 75,000 on each convict.
The verdict comes after a detailed trial where the prosecution presented robust evidence and effective testimony to establish the involvement of the accused in the brutal broad-daylight shooting.
