Kolkata, Feb. 28 -- The Election Commission of India has begun publishing the final voter list in West Bengal following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

While the final list has not yet been uploaded on the Commission's website at the time of filing this report, the publication process has started at the district level, with lists already reaching district administrations. The rolls are expected to be available online shortly.

Sources said that in South Kolkata, 3,207 names have been removed from the draft electoral rolls at this stage.
