Nagpur, July 2 -- : A 60-year-old woman died after she allegedly came into contact with live cable and suffered fatal electric shock while wading through rainwater near Bisa Baba Dargah in Gausiya Colony under Nagpur Municipal Corporation's Prabhag No. 30 during heavy rainfall, officials said on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Afroz Azim Khan, a resident of Sakkardhara.
According to officials, the incident occurred on Wednesday night after incessant rains caused severe waterlogging in the area. Khan reportedly suffered an electric shock while passing through the flooded stretch and died on the spot.
