Aichi-Nagoya, Sept. 22 -- India's Elavenil Valarivan and Parth Mane missed out on a medal in the 10m air rifle mixed team event, finishing fourth in the final at the Asian Games here on Tuesday.
The Indian duo, who had qualified for the medal round in second place, could not maintain their strong qualification form and finished fourth with 376.3 points, trailing China, South Korea and Japan.
Elavenil and Parth had earlier shot 634.6 points in qualification to finish second, behind China's Wang Zifei and Sheng Lihao, who set a new qualification world record of 638.9. South Korea qualified third with 633.2, while Japan secured the fourth and final spot.
