Mumbai, Sept. 17 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde spoke in Gujarati language at PM Narandra Modi's birthplace and native village of Vadnagar, in Gujarat on Thursday, praising his work, on the occasion of PM Modi's 76th birthday.

Speaking at a 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan' event organised at Vadnagar, to celebrate PM Modi's 76th birthday, which was attended by union Home Minister Amit Shah, Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde said in Gujarati, "Vadnagar's son has become a son of the entire land, and the country has become a beloved of the world. Today I feel proud of this land. On behalf of Maharashtra and its 12.5 crore people as well as the Shiv Sena, I wish PM Modi a happy birthday".
