Raipur, Sept. 13 -- Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has taken cognizance of reports of alleged mistreatment of girl students at the Eklavya Residential School in Bijapur district, directing District Collector Vishwadeep and the Superintendent of Police to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter and take strict action as per rules.

The Chief Minister directed that action be taken without delay based on the facts that emerge from the investigation. He said accountability must also be fixed for any official found to have ignored, suppressed or delayed action on the complaint at any level.
