Chennai, July 11 -- Eight tourists from Tamil Nadu are among the 15 Indians drowned in a tragic boat capsize at Phu Quoc Island in Viernam on Saturday, even as Vice President C P Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Vijay, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and leaders of various political parties condoled their deaths.
According to reports received here, of the eight tourists from Tamil Nadu included, three deceased were from Trichy and one each from Salem, Dharmapuri and Palani in Dindigul districts. Two tourists from the state were rescued.
