Jammu, March 21 -- Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated on Saturday with religious fervour and gaiety across Jammu, with large numbers of people attending prayers at mosques and Eidgahs.
Crowds dressed in festive attire gathered at various locations across the city to offer congregational prayers. The main congregation was held at Eidgah on Residency Road, where thousands of devotees from the city and adjoining areas offered Eid namaz in the morning.
On the occasion, senior functionaries of police and civil administration were also present and exchanged Eid greetings with Muslim brethren and prayed for peace and tranquillity in the region.
