Hyderabad, March 21 -- Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated with religious fervour across Telangana on Saturday, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Special prayers were offered at Eidgahs and mosques across the State, with thousands of worshippers participating in congregations from early morning.
The largest gathering was witnessed at the Mir Alam Eidgah, where nearly two lakh people offered prayers.
Large congregations were also seen at Mecca Masjid, Hockey Grounds in Masab Tank and other mosques across the city.
Former cricketer and currently Telangana Minister Mohammad Azharuddin offered Eid prayers at Banjara Hills, while AIMIM Chief and Hyderabad MP, Asaduddin Owaisi was among those present at the Mir Alam Eidgah.
