Lucknow, July 22 -- Uttar Pradesh is taking major steps towards promoting electric vehicles and developing a green transportation system.

According to the proposal, work is being accelerated on the plan to install 238 public EV charging stations in the state under the Central Government's PM e-Drive scheme and Uttar Pradesh's EV Manufacturing and Mobility Policy-2022. This initiative is part of the strategy to strengthen the charging network in the state and attract investment.
