New Delhi, Aug. 17 -- Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) India Chairman Pankaj Chadha has welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Independence Day address, saying the government's focus on manufacturing, innovation and ease of doing business would help accelerate India's emergence as a global industrial and manufacturing hub.
Chadha said the Prime Minister's address reflected a clear vision for India's industrial transformation and indicated that further reforms could be expected to strengthen the country's manufacturing capabilities.
He said sustained government efforts had significantly reduced the cost of doing business and helped position India among the leading destinations for global investment.
