Hyderabad, Aug. 14 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday said education was the key to social empowerment, self-respect and transforming the lives of weaker sections.
Speaking after unveiling the statues of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Savitribai Phule at Necklace Road here, the Chief Minister said his government was drawing inspiration from Jyotiba Phule's vision of using education to eradicate social inequalities.
He said the government was overhauling the education system and introducing integrated residential schools with comprehensive facilities, including nutritious food from the nursery level.
