Khammam, April 9 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Thursday said education is the true weapon for progress and stressed that only education can empower children and build an equal and progressive society.
Addressing after distributing free bicycles to students of government schools and colleges under Amma Foundation initiative at Bonakal here, Bhatti said students must shape their future by treating education as their strongest weapon and added that disparities in society can be eliminated only through education.
He said the recent socio-economic, educational, employment and caste survey conducted by the state government has clearly shown that development is possible only through education.
