Pune, July 24 -- Education is essential for children from underprivileged sections to break the vicious cycle in which poverty prevents access to education and lack of education perpetuates poverty, and to overcome the inferiority complex associated with poverty, said Dr Pramod Kumar, Founder-President of SIBM.
Speaking to reporters on the occasion of the institution's Foundation Day today, Dr Kumar said that education is becoming increasingly expensive and is gradually moving beyond the reach of the common people. However, there is little possibility of education becoming cheaper in the near future.
