Kolkata, April 11 -- Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials accompanied by Central forces arrived on Saturday morning at the Naktala residence of former West Bengal education minister Partha Chatterjee in a renewed move linked to the school recruitment scam.

Sources indicated that the Central agency is likely to question Chatterjee again in connection with the case ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.

The development comes after repeated summons were issued to him following his release on bail. However, Chatterjee allegedly failed to appear, citing health concerns each time.

He had earlier informed the ED that he could be questioned via video conferencing or even at his residence, prompting Saturday's action.
