Agartala, Nov. 5 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) reportedly carried out a raid on the home of contractor Sudip Paul in Uptakhali in North Tripura's Panisagar, which has led the probe into an alleged multi-crore fraud involving fake government tenders to supply rice and edible oil for Tripura's Mid-Day Meal Scheme.
The raid followed allegations against Paul and Abhishek Chandra, a 2003-batch IAS officer from the Tripura cadre. Both are named as alleged conspirators in a detailed memorandum prepared by the West Bengal Special Task Force (STF).
