Chandigarh, Sept. 9 -- The Enforcement Directorate has questioned former Punjab chief secretary Anurag Verma as it looks deeper into government approvals and changes to layout plans linked to the Suntec City money-laundering investigation in Mohali, people familiar with the matter said.

Verma, a 1993-batch IAS officer now serving as Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue, appeared before the agency on Wednesday and brought documents connected with the case. His statement was recorded under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
