New Delhi, April 11 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Guwahati Zonal Office, today said it has filed a chargesheet against several individuals, including Rakesh Mohan Kotwal, retired Zonal Manager (North East Region), NPCC Ltd., Latiful Pasha, Officer-in-Charge of the Jalpaiguri Project, and directors of Shree Gautam Construction Company Limited, in connection with an alleged bribery case linked to government contracts.
According to the ED, the case pertains to contracts awarded by NPCC Ltd., on behalf of the Border Security Force (BSF), to Shree Gautam Construction Company Limited for the construction of nine Border Out Posts along the Indo-Bangladesh border, worth approximately Rs 60.30 crore.
