New Delhi, May 12 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Bhopal Zonal Office, on Tuesday said it has filed a prosecution complaint (chargesheet) against Jayshri Gayatri Food Products Pvt. Ltd. and its Managing Director, Kishan Modi, in connection with a large-scale dairy products adulteration case.
According to the ED, the accused persons were duly informed and the Special Court took cognisance of the prosecution complaint after granting a pre-cognisance hearing.
The case relates to the alleged large-scale adulteration of milk products, which the agency said had a widespread impact on public health and society.
