New Delhi, June 2 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Bhopal Zonal Office, today said it has provisionally attached movable and immovable properties worth Rs 67.25 crore belonging to Govind Prasad Mehra, former Engineer-in-Chief of the Public Works Department (PWD), Madhya Pradesh, and his family members.

The ED initiated its investigation on the basis of an FIR (first information report) registered by the Special Police Establishment (SPE), Lokayukta, Bhopal, under Sections 13(2) read with 13(1)(b) of the Prevention of Corruption Act against Mehra for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
